What data we collect and why

• Contact form: name, email, company, phone (optional), sector and message, to answer your request. Legal basis: your consent and pre-contractual steps at your request.
• Newsletter: name and email, to send the “De Bom a Excelente” newsletter. Legal basis: consent, confirmed by email. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• Booking: the details you enter in the booking calendar (Google Calendar), to schedule the meeting.

Retention

Contact requests are kept for 24 months after the last contact, unless you become a client. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.

Processors

We use service providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and abuse protection), self-hosted n8n (form routing), Notion (contact management), Zoho (email and newsletter) and Google (calendar). Some may process data outside the EEA under GDPR safeguards. We never sell data.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Visit statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free. YouTube videos load only when you click them (privacy-enhanced mode); the Google calendar opens only when you ask.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to eu@carlosgil.pt. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Complaints and dispute resolution

You can file a complaint in the Electronic Complaints Book. Consumers may use an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as CNIACC (www.cniacc.pt). More information at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
